Alvin Straight is a very old man with a quiet life in a small country town. When his brother gets seriously sick, he decides to put away their differences and visit him after many, many years. So, alone, he begins a long journey through hundreds of miles, just to see his brother again, even if it's the last thing he will ever do. This movie is based on a true story.

@suchfunstuff yeah it does - drive belt busted, so nothing for the engine to pull against and it starts revving. Like when you're motoring, it slips out of gear and the engine leaps? Thangyew, and good night

it took me forever to find this town on Google earth. I was trying my darndest to read the street signs in the picture. I finally found it. That's pretty neat. :)
