mirage 4000 was disign to be the equivalent of F15/SU27...but french government didn't get the money to lauch the program as they need a smaller and multirole aircraft : rafale

Ths is definitely not a Mirage 2000 with 2 engines. Diferent aerodynamics, totally different cockpit, and performances ... This is a Rafale Prototype but definitely not a Mirage 2000 with 2 engines.

It never enter inservice but define the design of Rafale and Eurofighter. It is, in basics, a Mirage2000 with 2 engines.
