Everyone should know these three basic knots that when used together will allow you to securely tie down a load for travel in your trailer, on your roof or to the back of an ATV. This is my version of the "truckers hitch".

  • Knowing your knots is so useful in so many situations. I love the trucker's hitch, slip knot, noose knot, hangman's knot, daisy chain, bowline, sheet bend, double sheet bend, larkshead, overhand, figure 8 and many more. I don't know how I ever managed for as many years as I did with just a square knot...
