both indeed sound alike but i think it might be just a coincidence. i mean... this two songs have the same 3 chords i've already heard in sooooo many other songs! we know that madonna is quite an inspiration to gaga and has a lot of influence on her work and fashion but I don't think she's copying her, as many people keep saying. i personally have much more respect for lady gaga than i do for madonna, but that's just an opinion.
