This is easy to rationalise: Snake never even experienced this memory, it's there only for the player's sake. Simple.

Snake has codec too, so I assume he picked up that weird message as well. Or perhaps a more logical explanation is a TIME PARADOX. I loved this easter egg though.

@TBotAlpha It's supposed to be sort of a flashback for the players who've played previous games, just like the flashbacks to MGS3; it's not meant to imply that Snake himself actually heard it.

Stealth Camo/Optical Camo (same thing different name), 5 million drebin points, half price in act 5, 20% off on a wednesday, or complete the game without being seen on any difficulty. =|

i do not know if you'll answer this due to the thing being 3 weeks old but do your drebing points save after you start the game again or do you have to start all over

pretty much everything, including drebin points carries over into a new game save if you load the finished one, its really the only way you could purchase 4 of 5 of the guns/items from drebin. :|
