The fifth-ranked University of Montana Grizzlies overcame an early deficit to defeat the 23rd-ranked Texas State Bobcats 31-13 in a first-round Football Championship Subdivision game Saturday afternoon in front of 19,489 fans in UMs Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
It was a tale of two halves, as the Grizzlies outscored the Bobcats 24-3 in the second half after being down 10-0 in the first quarter and trailing 10-7 at halftime.
The Grizzlies (12-1) were able to take control in large part to the play of sophomore running back Chase Reynolds, who had career-highs of 38 carries for 233 yards, and scored two touchdowns.
let me know if yall make it! I go to Texas State now. My friend Cameron was on the team this year and he'll probably get drafted to the NFL. He was the one to make the touchdown catch for this game for Texas State.
