  • Well I have the MS1000-H1, and I'm using it with all other silent fans like the Noctua NF-P12 and SilenX 120mm fans with 7v adapters. When you turn the 92mm fan that comes with the Zalman MS1000-h1 to low, you can barely hear it. There is still a tiny noise but once you close the case you cannot hear that. With high settings, you can hear the fan after the case is closed, on low, you can't.

  • well, that's good to know. I love the 6 hotswap bays in the HS2. Perfect for a home server build. I would probably add a quiet intake fan at the bottom and block off the empty fan slot at the top to give it a bit more of a +ve air pressure.
