i have been having great results with this program. I am a bass who was topping out around an F#4, I am now able to sing Bb4 with no strain, and I've been workin on hitting B's and high C's. Not to mention my vibrato and head voice sound so much better.
@slygemini does it take a long time for the results to start showing? cuz I've just recently got this program(like 2 days ago) and am really struggling, like I don't really know whether I should be trying to push my head voice volume/chest voice, it seems when I try an do head voice it just seems like falsetto :(
Having taken from some of the best vocal coaches in the country, I can honestly say that Brett is somewhat of a joke in the actual singing community. I'm a music student so I'm not professional, but alot of his coaching is not a solid way of singing. 3:30...that's not a good sound. Very tight and strained. The poor guy won't be singing long if he keeps this up. This is simply my opinion...everyone has one. If you don't agree with me, that's cool.
omg. it is my dream to be able to sing like this. wow. right now I can do a very light mix but as soon as I add volume, my larynx and throat tenses up.
This guy teaching is an idiot. He knows many tricks of how to manipulate vocal chords and what not, but that is not what singing is all about. Singing is about understand music. Singing is about training your ear to understand pitch. He never ever teaches pitch. Basically, the way he teaches people to sing is paramount to teaching guitar to a student, but not teaching with a tuned guitar and not first teaching them to tune a guitar. Every thing this guy teaches is out of key. Key is cornerstone.
The video doesn't skip with my computer, but I still find it quite hard to tell what happens. I'm not sure exactly where the video skips for you, but here's the transcript: 2:57 And then buee buee buee buee buee, buah buah buah buah buah, until I'm into this thing. But it's all very you know incremental again 3:07 Basically there isn't an explanation, he just does it ;-) Hope your voice is improving, take care, Emi
