GM and dodge did not put seat airbags in their 1999 vans. o and BTW the rear slider door still opened and closed also the van drove away, she hit us at 60km/h i am convinced that in any other van i would not be here today

My mom had a 1999 SE, this was the best van we EVER owned, thi thing drove like king of the road. it did not have a blown head gasket after 160,000 km (1999 pontiac transport/montana) it road much better than both the caravan and the pontiac. It was safer than both, my mom and myself were going to a dentist appointment when we got T-boned by a 2003-2005 cavalier, the driver of the cavalier had 2 broken arms. i was in the passenger seat of the windstar and the seat air bag saved my life.
