Fine singing from all involved particularly from Patane and Milnes, who sings far better than he did when he sang Si Puo, which is not a patch on his 1978 Met performance. I didn't mind the B flat, not the best high note Milnes has ever reached(probably his high B in the brilliant Rigoletto recording he did in 1971), but I am actually surprised he could still reach it after everything he went through in the 80s. Great stage presence too, and fine musical singing from Patane and Vidal.
