http://www.mikeyssmail.com This is one of those patterns that are 3D in appearance. These types of cables are seen on sweaters and more. Easy to follow. It's a bit time consuming to learn and get into the flow but does create a unique look to any afghan or articles of clothing.
Can this stitch be worked with a single crochet base as post stitches?

Wow, I never heard of this stitch, and I would never understand the pattern if I were to read it. I going to try this pattern, so thank you for the new idea.

@ivarvara your right your not supposed to count the initial slipknot stitch as a stitch. this is something mikey was taught to do as a child and didnt learn til later that it was wrong..... some of his old videos still show it that way..........so do it the new way!
