They suffer the consequences of the evil works they earn; for them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful retribution because of their disbelief.

This is a dangerous and incorrect statement. In Jesus own words, "I have not come to do away with the law, but to fufill it." That would make him the supreme example of one who follows the Father- making him the "way" to the Father, the "truth" of the Father, and the "light" in the darkness of the world. God does not change. What he set forth then, is valid now, and only those who seek to do other than that say otherwise. If im wrong, quote the book as to how.
