i've know this all along though, its kinda obvious, documentaries are riffe with this shit, they all add animal noises and calls, especially with birds, look for it, half the time their mouths are shut. also in underground scenes like with the wolves, its got to be set up, wolves wont let a remote controlled camera near a den

David Attenborough has stated they've used captive animals in the documentaries he's done. A notable example is in the film the Frozen Planet, where the entire polar bear cub birth scene is shot in a zoo using fake snow.

There's somethin to be said about the fact that documentary films aren't actually documenting anything. I guess they have reality tv to compete with.
