Hey bro what exact speakers do you use? It sounds amazing. I have some Behringer b1031a's that are supposed to be really good but they really muffle and muddy up the sound of my motif xs8 They especially muddy up the low keys to the point that it all just sounds like a mess. I know this cause it sounds amazing through my head phones. Is there a way to correct this, or are there better speakers specifically for the motif xs8? Thnx!

Hey so i'm buying this Motif xs 8 and i need to know whats a good set of speakers or amp thats not too expencive but has a good sound. Any idea? thnx!

@oysterlovers awesome thanx for the prompt response! Cheers!
One more question bro. Does the xs8 have built in speakers or do you need to buy separate speakers? Also if it is built in speakers can it reach a good loud volume? Thanx!

@Alex1234564 No it doesn't have speakers - you need to connect it. I connect mine to my computer speakers via a mixing desk, so I can record on the computer whenever I want.

@Alex1234564 Check out the video from Bert Smorenburg - he pretty much explains it all

@Alex1234564 also have a look at the yamaha MOX versions if you want to save some money. Has the same sounds as the Motif XS, but now they have brought out the XF it's a cheaper version

sounds amazing. So are there more than just 4 spots available to record in? I keep hearing that with the xs8 which is what i wanna get you can only record four different instruments.. I'd like to record way more than that if i can. Are there ways to do it with the software for computer or what? Thanks!

@Alex1234564 Cheers - it has an inbuilt sequencer with at least 16 tracks available for any instruments (maybe more) - also you can plug a microphone or guitar direct into the keyboard for a track, and import WAV samples as well. I do most of my recording with the computer, but for sequencing and looping its great.
