Perhaps it's because it's not a metal show, there are usually younger people at Flyleaf shows as well as older, many times the venues ask that there will be no moshing, and you don't always have to "go crazy" to enjoy a live performance. The band is always impressed when the audience knows all the words/is moved by what they're saying rather than when they're making circle pits.
