A Check-Up: Christian Music Industry vs Ministry

I'm just voicing my concerns about a trend that has been bothering me lately and sharing the revelation that God gave me about those concerns. If you take serious offense to any of the things I've said, I'm not equipped to deal with that. Please seek the Lord in your own time. This is very necessary & well put together... I myself am an 'artist' (i.e. I have a gift) but I have hesitated spreading my gift on a large scale because of stuff like "What if I ended up like 'them'..." The closest thing I've come to accept being direction from God is that it's not time for the next Moses or Paul, but it's time for brothers & sisters to step out from among the flock, say what God intends, then step right back inline with the rest of the the Body. Only Christ is the Head.

I looked at the video, and while I do agree with the responsibly of gospel singers who fall publicly from grace being on those who perpetuate foolishness, the ultimate responsibility will be with them concerning their actions on judgment day.

I am really having a hard time with the gospel music "Industry." It promotes exaltation of these artists and encourages the very thing you speak about to occur. Heads get big because of record sales and popularity and and pride goes before a fall.
