nice and very easy recipe but i think you HAVE to add the lemon juice to the strawberry and sugar otherwise the sugar will crystallize and ruins the jam. thanks for sharing.

sousoukitchen why when i covered the jam on the stove it wanted to boil over even on a very low flame?have any idea why this happened and is it a nesscessary step to cover it.

You only need to cover the pot until it starts to boil
After that remove the lid and stir the mixture occasionally. Further covering is not needed.

not really, if you see the recipe, I just mentioned lemon juice but I didn't add it to the mixture, the result was excellent.
