Harold Camping's signs and do you wonder something not right?

Take a closer look at all the signs, what are the messages? What is missing? What are they trying to accomplish? What is the warning about?

Hint: How do you get saved? By listening to family Radio? by Read the Bible? by going to Church or .... John 14:6, John 3:16


someone told me to google and I would find that missing "word", and I did, but not on the billboards. And by the way, still no gospel message even if you found the missing "word" on their signs.

there are lots of signs that say the word jesus and lord..every person that wears a t-shirt has the word jesus on it and during his new commercial it has the word jesus..so buddy you are so wrong. anyone with a computer and editing software can change things to make themselves look good. so stop-look-and pray untill the 21st of may 2011...

@ecd041862 Perhaps, you didn't watch the video carefully (just like you didn't read the Bible carefully) The video says about BILLBOARDS, it didn't say anything about T shirts! Just like Camping, The Bible is plain and simple about no one knows but The Father only, he had to go around and twist it. The video is about billboards, you will see the truth on May 22, 2011. Camping is not following Christ, He does not believe Jesus is son of God, the savior. Period.

They are/were sincere(Camping's followers) but sincerely wrong.

But just like the rest of the majority of Christians they still think the rapture and the second coming are separate events. They not.

@AtheistToothFairy well, i'm learning ancient greek because of my love for socrates and the platonic dialogues, so it's definitely not a waste for me. my point was, though, that you can at least cut out some of the interpretation done by those who did not know jesus.

god is only lovingly and symbolically referred to as a father; only fools view god as a literal man in the literal sky with a literal beard.

as to the what to do now, i already said. love your neighbor, turn the other cheek, etc.

It would surely be a waste of time to try and learn ancient Greek, for as you say, jesus spoke Aramaic and much had to have been lost in going between those two languages, then from copy to copy, all while Daddy-God allowed the originals to get lost forever.

@AtheistToothFairy i'm not sure what to say to that. it's supposed to be a "mess", because that's the only way to provide enough choices to allow for truly free will. as far as translation problems, you're free to learn ancient greek like i am, but even then jesus didn't speak greek so that has been translated and interpreted already. in my opinion, the important parts couldn't be more plain, and i don't think the important parts are about theoretical life after death but about what to do now.

True, none of us are jesus, but then jesus seems to be silent about what he wants, and expects us to interpret a 2000 y/o book, of which the autographs don't even exist and translation problems abound, along with personal customizations et al.

@AtheistToothFairy again, thinking that people who are wrong will fry is BS, i think. not all sects believe in calvinism. if god exists, i think freedom is necessary. if freedom is necessary, then it's clear why there isn't only one church. we tried that for centuries, but then the catholic church started selling people get out of sin free cards, which is why martin luther and the protestant movement started in the first place. none of us are jesus, so we can't perfectly interpret his teachings.

Indeed, some xtians would brand you as a heretic, which surely must be a problem for you xtians as a group, in that no sect holds the proven truth to what the bible says, or if you will, what the Holy Spirit is conveying to its believers.

I think if god were real, he wouldn't allow 30K sects, each thinking they hold THE truth and the others are wrong or will FRY
