Demi looked up at the sun in the cloudless sky.

Joe: People alert.

Kevin: Huh?

Joe: There are two girls swimming out her.

Nick: Then its our cue to leave. Come on, Frankie.

They all jump off and swim in and walk onto the beach over to their parents.

They all immediately pulled on sunglasses, even Frankie.

Demi grabbed her towel and her phone and dried off a little bit then spread it out a little ways away from the blankets and layed down on her stomach.

Joe followed her and put his towel on the sand and sat down on it.

Demi propped herself up on her elbows and played with the sand in front of her.

Joe was texting on his iPhone.

Stupid shiny iPhone owner. (AN: Twilight hahhhahaa)

Demi was jealous. She had a silly old Razr.

Demi: Who are you talking to?

Joe: Meaghan.

Demi: About?

Joe: Um, you know, stuff.

Demi: Um, okay.

They sat for a minute then Demis phone buzzed.

Demi: Hey, Sel.

Selena: Hey, Demi. Hows the beach?

Demi: Great.

Selena: Working on a tan?

Demi: -Laughs.- Yeah, I really need to tan.

Joe: No you dont.

Demi: Joe, honey, please be quiet, Im on the phone.

Selena giggles and so does Demi.

Selena: What about the brothers?

Demi: Well, Joe is sitting right here, Frankie and Kevin are building a sand castle and Nick is doing something on his phone. Probably talking to Miley.

Selena: Fun. Has anyone recognized them?

Demi: Not yet.

Selena: Oh, well, Im going over to Emilys for swimming but you can call anytime.

Demi: Okay. Have fun.

Selena: -Giggles.- I will. Ill talk to you later.

Demi: Bye.

Selena: Bye.

Joe was picking up sand then dropping it through his fingers.

Joe: Whats Selena up to?

Demi: -Flips over so shes laying on her back.- Shes going over to Emilys to swim.

Joe: Oh, Meaghan was going over there, too.

Demi: Oh.

?????: Joe?!
