Special Agent Place became the first female A.T.F. Special Agent to die in the line of duty. She was laid to rest at a graveside ceremony in Manchester By The Sea, Massachusetts.

Hell you folks can find governmnt filmed video footage of the FBI gunning down the Branch Davidians who were fleeing from the fire. (its on youtube).

The ATF has always been a threat to the Constitution and American freedoms.

Just ask the the Branch Davidians (those who lived) about the ATF, ask former US Army Special Forces Randy Weaver about the ATF who tried to entrap him into becoming an informant, and the US Marshals that killed his dog, and murdered his 14 year old son, ask Mr Weaver about the FBI Sniper who shot his wife in the face exploding her jaw while she was.....wait for it....wait for it.... holding her infant child.

@AirForceCAP Second, and perhaps *most* importantly, you seem to be presuming that "any Cop or Agent" would be 100% 'rah-rah' about ATF and their dubious mission (possibly even to the point of giving a dissenter some quality 'stick time'). LE is *not* some homogeneous hive of villainy that doesn't think for themselves, dishing out extralegal 'justice' for what /you/ presume to be bad attitudes, and I *hope* that's not what you were trying to infer (although it certainly sounds like it was).

@AirForceCAP First of all, I'm not sure how 'enforcing' me from having a shotgun with a barrel length of less than 18" or a rifle with a barrel length of less than 16" correlates at all with whether I can "sleep safe at night." But that's really more of an issue for Congress than for someone from the enforcement arm of Congress' stupidity...

I'm sorry this guy has had to deal with mean comments about his daughters death even if I strongly am against who she worked for. On the other side, why report comments and try to turn people in and have the found over their comments. Try not to be part of the problem on either side of the fence.
