A powerful film by the late, great Philippine director Lino Brocka. It portarys, in fictionalized form, the reality of state-backed paramilitary terror under the supposedly democratic government of Corazon Aquino following the 1986 "People Power" military uprising that overthrew the martial-law government of Ferdinand Marcos.

Probably because of its left politics, this film has not gotten much distribution and has never been released on DVD. This rip is from the laserdisc
