@betyerbottomdollar You know what the problem of Nicaraguan people is, some of them are procrastinators, they talk and talk, but never contribute nothing beneficial to their own country. And worst of all they love to give opinions on things they have little knowledge about, possible due to their ignorance, If you not helping to solve the problem that your country faces, then step aside and let those who are more willing to do it, do their job. And stop Procrastinating.

This is a dream come true. After so many decades, there finally will be an eco-canal. This is great for these people! About time someone makes Central America a more competitive market ;)
Now Panama will definately get some competition!

Oh my god, THIS is what is planned!? This is horrible... Monkey Point belongs to the indigenous Rama and Kriol people that live there. Today Monkey Point is one of the last unspoiled communities in this hemisphere and smack in the middle of the Cerro Silva rainforest reserve. You are going to cut that down? Force the people to move or work for the port? They fish. They farm. They don't drive forklifts or trucks. THEY DON"T EVEN SPEAK SPANISH! They can, but it isn't their culture. Shameful.
