What is it with American riders wearing t-shirts, jeans and trainers, but then wearing one of those protective vests? Great if all you want to protect is your nipples.

actually, i don't even fault him for the jeans and t-shirt. everything in motorcycling is risk. his mistake came when he made a deliberate decision to try and get a knee down on mulholland while wearing said jeans and t-shirt.
