C.A.T. sucks, worse tourniquet ever, the plastic brakes over time and wear, so when you lay on it wrong or are applying it in a stressful emergency under fire they tend to break if they aren't brand new. Good for non combat soldier who may need to use it in a bunker on the COS or FOB.

@GearBuyersGuide both release, the only difference is how you secure the side panels. CIRAS stands for combat integrated releasable armor. so if it doesnt release, it isnt a ciras

Yes its called the Land version (as in no need to drop it off in the water)

@GearBuyersGuide Do you know if these vests have the built in level IIIA padding woven into the front and back like the Marine Corps issues ones do?
