This is the parade in Moscow's Red Square, devoted to the 61st anniversary of the Great Victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War (what the Eastern Front of World War II is called in the former Soviet Union), 9 May 2006. After the flag ceremony, Minister of Defense, Sergei Ivanov (this year would be his last before stepping down), along with Moscow Military District Commander, Colonel General, Vladimir Bakin, begin their inspection tour of the troops that are to participate in the parade. Afterwards, President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin delivers the commemoration address from the main stage in front of Lenin's Mausoleum. Afterwards, soldiers sing the Russian national anthem in Red Square, followed by their march past Red Square, and a drill show at the end of the parade. Music by the Moscow Military District Orchestra, directed by Colonel Valery Khaliov.

@cronus6282 thank you. Nice to hear this words. That's true. We are not bad. And we don't want to conquer the whole world as americans say in their films. We don't want to take someone's land. We just want to save ours. We just want our children live in country with great history and traditions. We want to give a happy independent life to them. Our doors are opened for everybody who seek peace in the world, but not for people who want to break peace. sorry for bad english
