  • I really hate the Ghosts and Legends tour.

    Too damn cheesy.

I'd much prefer if they just allow people to go to the first class pool on their own, rather than have to do a tour.

And even if I had to choose a tour, I'd rather have an actual informational tour, not some stupid special effects haunted house. If I want to be scared, I'll be scared by the ship itself, not by some god damn special effects and fog machines and Halloween parlor tricks.

  • Damn right! And I've heard comments like this MANY times before... Many areas of the ship are mysterious enough without the need for a smoke and mirrors facade.

Be sure to check out the video I have walking through the swimming pool dressing boxes area. That video is linked to this one as a video response. Both of the videos are from 13 years ago, and the pool area has been tampered with since then for the Ghosts and Legends tours.

The Queen Mary is permanently docked at Long Beach,California. Most of her engine rooms and such were taken out in her conversion to a hotel so she is in no longer in condition to sail. She is also "supposedly" haunted because of a number of deaths that happened onboard and because she plowed over the HMS Curaco in WW2. However, it should be said that when a ship is at sea for as long as she was there are bound to be a number of deaths!

  • @tutudrama90 Quite she did drown , but she broke her neck in the pool which left her to drown

  • @BlueKewne iAgree That Shieet Sucks

  • I was there today Memorial Day 5-3-11. What I hate is that while going down to bottom of the ship in the boiler room and beyong, the damn music was too loud that I can't even understand what the tour guide was saying. Also there was not enough light that I can't see shit much of the time. I wanted to see all the rusted stuff in the bottom but couldn't even identify any of it. But since it was Memorial Day, I got in free, cause I was a veteran.

  • @shiftwork ya, and how did she drown? the pool was emptied before anyone could swim in it.

  • i agree... the ghosts and legends tour is WAY to cheesy. I thought i would actually SEE a ghost, not expensive electronics, fog, lights, and crap. and that door swinging thing in the pool, u could totally see the motorized cord that pulled it open and closed!

  • that ghosts and legends tour was retarded
