Cool! I have a Preoccupied Pipers CD I bought at a Lawsuit show back in the 90's. It looks like several of the same musicians. Do the Preoccupied Pipers play regularly, or is this just a "once in a blue moon" type thing? ...Ooh, I see on the related videos that there is a Preoccupied Pipers channel... I'll have to go check that out now.

I didn't make that show but some friends of mine played IPO there Thursday night - Hope Chest. This is their second or third year doing it. I like their sound, I'm stumped by that first snippet but I know it's an older sitcom

You mean the bit about The Mikado? It's a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta.

It is the same musicians, for the most part (it depends on who is around). They don't play regularly, just once a year at IPO (though they record music throughout the year)
