There are also haters, people who just get a glimpse at DW in a telly, see the Doctor making one of his cool unfunny jokes, and say "This is crap, I'll never try to watch it again." Now that I think of it, all those people hating DW is kind of stupid. I should make Hitler say something in the lines of "Whoever thinks this regeneration was needed".

@xservintage Lol, and by your use of the word "telly", I am assuming you are British. But what I mean by people who have never seen it is people who have never watched an entire episode. If someone actually sits and watches a whole episode, they will be hooked. DW is good at doing that because of its constantly developing story line through-out a season, making viewers come back every week going "I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!"

Exactly! Tennant is good and funny, but Eccleston changed from funny to dark really fast, and he went deeper than Tennant. Plus his perspective on the situation was always FANTASTIC!

XD Eccleston will always be my favourite, but I don't think that the Doctor has EVER been played by a bad actor. They used to complain about how much Tennant was going to suck, now, after they were made to eat their words, they're making the same fuss about poor Matt Smith XD Honestly, one would think that they actually learned something from the whole thing with Tennant.

Eccelston can only make a cameo at the end of a Time War episode? Not nessecarily Adolf. Yes there was that throw away line in "Rose" where he looks in the mirror and comments on his ears, but then I make similiar remarks about my face and sometimes play with my ears doesn't mean I resembled Paul McGann the previous day ; ), so it's anyone's guess what he was up to before that adventure. But it's a moot point since you're right and we'll most likely never see the Time War.

@xservintage I believe he's always checking if he is ginger, not if he's a girl. and In the last episode of series one mentions that time lords can regenerate into anything
