titan 12T 550 NOT breaking when it should...

running on 3 7.2V NiCd batteries in series. 2 are 1200mAh, and 1 is 2000mAh. All batts peak at a little over 9V, but assume they are the 7.2v each, so that's 21.6V, when the motor is only rated for 8.4V...I'm sure it would be a different story if there was any load on the motor however. Ran for a total of about 18 minutes, with about a 30 second break in the middle when I stopped working mysteriously...

I was hoping it would break...and yes, I am wearing the only gloves I could find ,since I didn't want anything shooting out of the back of the motor into my hand, at something like 20,000+ rpms... (guessing)

yeah, If I would have rigged something up to put load on the motor I'm sure it would have burned up quicker, at the end of it all the brushes were just tiny nubs, lol
