31st May 2010 - At the Manchester protest against the Israeli assault on the Gaza Flotilla, a protester manages to raise the Palestinian flag alongside that of the BBC corporation.

He is later aggressively apprehended by a large number of police officers, which I partially caught here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab-f3rdocmc

  • Well , poor England , soon it will realize Islam's true colors.

Maybe then , people will understand what Israel faces.

  • @JoeShnoz I think we all know what Israel faces - a world which doesn't approve of a country illegally holding 1.5 million people hostage in semi-starvation, whilst brutally oppressing the 4 million total Palestinians in Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), and meanwhile leaning on western media to present news with Israeli bias.

  • @illumin1138 Gaza has a border with Egypt.Isn't it strange that they also blockade Gaza ? Maybe the Hamas terror organization has conquered the Gaza strip ?

Instead of shooting rockets and missiles on Israel , they should let the red cross visit Gilad Shalit , an Israeli kidnap solider ?

Israel allows entering supplies to the strip.

    Free Gaza from the Hamas.

  • @JoeShnoz Your ignorance is astounding, like many in your position. Mubarak is blockading Gaza due to pressure from US and Israel - the same reason they're building their below-ground tunnel blocker. Hamas' attacks are always in response to Israeli attacks. E.g. see how Israel broke the ceasefire during which !!even Mark Regev!! admits that Hamas fired no rockets during it. Look at the IDF's homepage - how they advertise their brand spanking new rockets which they're about to fire at Palestine.

  • @JoeShnoz Finally, Israel only allows one-quarter of the aid that's internationally agreed is needed in Palestine by aid agencies. Have you looked at the recently updated list of allowed goods into Palestine? See how recently shoes were allowed... and tahini... and broom stick handles... and they're only allowed about 80 items!! (No tinned fruit, though!) Lol. Do some research instead of disseminating lies and crap on Youtube. Try and find 1 Palestinian who agrees with you.

  • @illumin1138 The fact is that Gaza is conquered by fanatic terrorist organization.

Sderot was under attack for 8 years , and that's even after Israel left Gaza for good in 2005.

Where have you been there , you peace activists ?

Israel is here to stay , despite these terror attempts.

  • @JoeShnoz Again, nothing to say in response to the issues I raised? Oh well. In response to yours, when a population is as repressed as the people of Gaza, you will have people fighting (and in some cases literally) for their rights - this is to be expected (the people aren't "terrorists"). The cure is to stop perpetrating human rights abuses and let the people live. The anti-cure is to pour £$£$ into "anti-terror" (i.e. terror-inducing) military schemes and cause yet more suffering and anger.

  • Even though there are Christian, Jewish and even atheist Palestinians. This is coming from a Liberal Muslim btw. Having Hamas in power also scares other countries, such as Germany for example, helping the Palestinian people because they don't want to aid a terrorist group. Palestine will never be free unless Hamas are removed or Israel is attacked by another country and defeated. The latter will almost certainly not happen in the near future and we can't blame all Israelies for what is happening

  • @illumin1138

I agree with him to a certain extent. I'm a British born Palestinian and in my opinion, Hamas are part of the problem. That's not to say Israel are completely innocent in all of this, but Hamas are horrible for Palestine. They essentially are a terrorist group, who kill there own people over the most ridiculous things such as listening to music. They want Palestinians to live in a society that offers no freedom of speech and to follow there insanely strict Islamic rules...

  • @JoeShnoz - Gilad Shalit- who is that.

  • thumbs up if u were there
