  • @OrthodoxDarwinist I agree, but at the same time, most of the media often demohumanized the soldiers that were fighting over there. That's why the government had it censered.

  • It's dishonorable that our solders are not given proper care for Post Traumatic Stress. My grandfather murdered himself after coming back from fighting in Japan during World War ll. He fought in Iwo Jima, which was one of the worst battles in the Pacific. We owe it to our men and women to help them over come post-war emotional trauma.

  • People often criticize the Stanley Kubrick film Full Metal Jacket as being a poorly executed version of the war. Maybe because it didn't glorify the Vietnam war. It was about the psychology of joining the military and going into war and it's negative effects on the soldiers and their emotional well being. Vietnam was a horrible war. Rabid rats were used to kill and torture enemy solders, inducing incredible pain and psychosis. Rabies causes one of the worst deaths imaginable.

  • @lolhahalol2 Every Government uses propaganda. It's a simple concept to emphasize the good without speaking the bad. Unfortunately it leads to mass atrocities like this. Also, the most televised war was the Vietnam War, leading to mass protests at home.

  • @xxitzfamousxx Deformed and dead unborn fetuses caused by pregnant women being exposed to Agent Orange.

  • lets go back to when we had no connection with the world outside North America. The more Americans put their feet in other countries business the more we ruin it.

  • Ofcourse americans didn't want those images in the media. It is a "democratic country" that still to this day attempts to brainwash it's people with propaganda, to create "american patriotism."

How ridiculous is it that they go into another country, create an unnecessary war, slaughter its people, still lose the war, but then at the end of the day is still able to convince it's people back home that they are the heroes/good guys in the whole thing...
