After thirty years service, the car ferry MV Jupiter has been retired and replaced on the Gourock-Dunoon service by two small passenger craft.
How will the Argyll Flyer cope with the often severe conditions experienced here in winter?
Excuse the background noise - engineers were working on the slipway.

  • Dunnon maybe to greenock

  • A pity that band saw began right on cue

  • Hope they keep the MV Saturn for this winter purpose. Argyll Flyer (ex-Banrion Chonamara) seems to have a pedigree off the western shores of the R.O.I , with Atlantic swells but could be different on the upper Firth of Clyde.
