Wow. This is better than what the Stones were doing at the time and way less pompous. Also the musicianship is sterling, and it's friggin hilarious. Zappa was ten years ahead of his contemporaries maybe more. The next album he did lampooned the Beatles and Moody Blues perfectly. What a ballsy guy. Zappa is my favorite 60s artist.
