2008 Thunder Over the Boardwalk Airshow

IN THIS VIDEO, watch as two HH-65C Dauphins perform a simultaneous search and rescue demonstration over the shallow waters of Atlantic City. One part of the demonstration shows the rescue swimmer diving back into the water but not being picked up. Truth is - I made a mistake by not shooting video because that rescue swimmer did swim his way to the beach to great applause and appreciation. I've never seen that happen at any of the past Atlantic City airshows!

I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was experimenting with the video camera and do not have a feel for it. In fact, most of the Atlantic City videos from Tuesday and Wednesday will not be up to my usual high quality.

I saw one of these going down the beach in Nags Head, NC. Didn't have my camera. Doh! Must have come from Elizabeth City CGAS.

LOL i remember when they did a uscg demo down where im at, except they did it over land! it was lame and they had the cadets do it and it took like 20 minutes
