Ezt a filmet Magyarországon még nem vetítették le! 1970-1990-2009 soha még! Én levelet írtam 1990-ben, amikor a ruszki megszállóknak ki kellett innen takarodni végre, hogy ezt a filmet végre vásárolják meg és fordítsék le magyar nyelvre is és adják le a TV-ben! Ha már moziban sem látni itt. És nem is válaszoltak a levelemre. Mondjátok el mindenkinek! Please!

When I was a boy I remember seeing this movie with my father (late)in a `VISTARAMA PROJECTION' theatre years ago!!I searched for this movie in YOUTUBE when I remembered some scenes act by JOHN MILLS (Names I came to know only now but remembered vaguely the scenes!)I am surprised how our present day movies have moved away from such outstanding and quality `character acting'!!Seeing this clip moves my heart!!JOHN MILLS REALLY DESERVES OSCAR FOR THIS SUPERB ACTING!!

It's fair to say that Michael is a kind of cross between Quasimodo and Norman Wisdom.

superb acting of John Mills, I didn't know he won an Oscar for it! He deserved it indeed!

Immediately after shooting the 'lobster scene' on the beach, David lean said to John Mills (Michael), "Have you ever won an Oscar Johnnie?" How prophetic was that! Dear Sir John, great actor, great man, sadly missed.
