I'm sure that this must be 1997 because if I remember correctly, the (Drew's) US version started in 1998.

uhm... right about us version (this one), but i think in '97 (the original british one) it still had the red background...

Has anyone got this or the first one (red background) in slow motion? As it's quite difficult to see what's happening in some bits, and I'd like to be able to see that.

For this season, the show was in Los Angeles.

this was the last season of 'whose line...' and it was recorded in los angeles, but i guess the american version of the show didn't have this opening sequence.
