Ohhhhhhhhhh I understand now DON'T write on walls with a carrot.I thought that was one of the do's.

OMFG, I remember this! As a peewee I watched this and was like WTF??? Why are you taking the trouble to explain to me that I am not supposed to stick a carrot in my belly button? This must be one of the most useless lessons ever put on Sesame Street. And yes, I did see the unbowdlerized version with the conks.

My sister and I used to act the carrot don't's out all the time, except we used Chee-Tos, and we never stuck them in our belly buttons, or hit each other with mallets. Fists yes, mallets, no.

I noticed on one episode from muppet wiki that was later censored in reairings. I just watched this and I assume that they edited out those hammers if I'm not mistaken, right?

Ugh! I agree! Of course now some kid is going to do just that--and then trick his sister into eating said carrot, just before he tells her what he did!

The guy who said "Gimme a carrot" looked like he was a thief because he didn't say please and thank you, and he sounded a little angry and rude, and the mask on his eyes made him look like a thief.

Yes that was pretty amazing how she put the whole carrot in her mouth. I wonder if she swallowed the whole carrot without chewing on it. If she didn't, she could've choked on it.
