I love this great written song by Sting! I also agree that they are a cult, because they destroy families with their mind control.

@REV7verse9 As Danmera pointed out, the WTBS does fit all the criteria for a cult and I agree with you about Jesus. Most of us here are sick of the damage they have caused and are working to bring the rank and file out so they can worship in the manner they choose. Peace

@Danmera nowadays people would prefer to worship God on auto-pilot and thats impossible. You have to get on the narrow path to the Father and the only way to keep balance on that narrow path is by the Grace of God the Father and Help by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I call the Father Jehovah, but I am also aware that people call him Allah, Yeweh, God and thats fine too. There is only One God and One Christ...everthing else is simply a creation. God has revealed so many secrets....

@Danmera I agree with you... The elders do door-to-door in my area and I told them...no man on this Earth holds the key to my salvation but the Christ. I further went on to say to the Elder, "We are equal, we are both men under God, you are my brother". The Elder smiled and agreed and we became cool. He stops by periodically and I still proclaim that my soul is not in peril because I was redeemed by the Blood Jesus Shed. We as a people have to evolve and understand ALL MEN ARE SINNERS.

@REV7verse9 I do agree with you however, that the witnesses, are for the most part, devout, love God, etc. The men in charge, who rule them, are the issue. Those men have made themselves mediator, and moved Jesus to the back burner.

@REV7verse9 I thought the same as you, and not too long ago. I learned about Mind Control however, and that changed my mind. They fit every criteria of Mind Control.

@REV7verse9 I will have to disagree with you, I was born and raised into this religion. For over 30+ years I professed this to be the truth, but doing research on cults I could not ignore the facts. Jehovah's witnesses are not Christians in the sense of that you may or may not understand? Witnesses don't believe in the deity of Christ and the leaders re-wrote John1:1 to teach their doctrine. When a group professes to be the one true religion and rewrites scriptures, what would you call that?

@1914watcher I dont think J.W's are cults. They are just regular people looking for salvation. The truth is J.W.s are Christians. They are our brothers and sisters regardless of Kingdom Hall attendance. They are one of many of God's flock. I think all Christians religions need to come back together. There is only one Jesus, and One Father....so why are we worshiping so seperately? I used to attend the Hall, I prefer to pray at home with my family and read the bible unfiltered.
