  • weather he turn his life around or not is a matter of opinion, the fact that he died so soon and in a tragic manner is what is really sad and unfortunate. Even to thos IGNORANT assholes on here leaving inappropriate comments i hope no one have to deal with anything like this. Bad talkin the dead is a disgrace, their families suffered enough dont you think? ,,smh

  • @DrugstoreCFH your cool!! (major sarcasm)

  • i pray 4 you all .

  • Reality check people! I knew him and partied with him alot! I was around during the rape smut too. He got a second chance and screwed it up. That's why he chose to not leave the lifestyle alone. He chose. He's dead. That's the consequences. And kids and a future wife? What about your other kids? What about all the girls you slept with before and during your engagement? Those are the questions that need answered! Hey Chad, say something! How about the truth this time!

  • LOL He should have been in fucking prison for 10 years at least. Now they're trying to make this piece of garbage out to be a hero/sob story. THE BLACK ALIEN IS DEAD!!!

  • @MLBMike613 WTF? I'm not arguing any opinion. I was merely stating facts. I didn't know him personally. Did you? I'm really not trying to insult him.

I really want to know, why do you think his number should be retired. I truly want to know what he did to merit that honor? I could rattle off a hundred players who were less talented and faced just as much adversity, yet accomplished far more than he did. Why do you think HIS number should be retired?

  • @mamacornettesmoney yes he did turn his life around....why the fuck am i arguing...its my fuckin opinion...you fucking annoy me shut the fuck up

  • @MLBMike613 He didn't turn shit around. He was arrested 9 or 10 months before his death and died while chasing his wife in a drunken stupor. I'm not judging him, just being real. Take his life as a lesson, don't sugar coat it.

But the comment was that his number should be retired and I say why?? If he was the nicest, most law abiding man in history no one would dream of retiring the number of a guy who barely produced in the NFL. He never came close to matching the potential of his talent.

  • @mamacornettesmoney see your seeing him as convict thats all...dude he turned his whole fuckin life around...hes a good guy...everyone makes mistakes...everyone loved him! hes an awesome reciever

  • @MLBMike613 Yes, I'm a douche for asking a question and being realistic. Wtf?? Did you even read what I said? I was simply being realistic.

Childish insults over the internet aside, you still didn't answer the question: why do you think they should retire the number of a guy who had almost as many arrests, convictions & suspensions as TDs during his time in the NFL?

He's certainly not the first football player to die, though I do believe he has an NFL record for convictions while active.
