Beautiful voice! His pronunciation is superb -- I am fluent in Italian and have lived and studied in Italy. This is not my favorite performance of the song, but this does not detract from the beautiful quality of his voice and technique! Bravo! He is a great singer! Beautiful performance of this haunting song! Thank you for sharing!! If some here think that posting insulting and mean-spirited critical comments proves that they are "the real" opera "connoisseurs" -- they are mistaken!

@XxXxMoMoStewxXxX My dear, this is one year after he was chosen by some of the greatest experts in Cardiff to win the Singer of the world over Bryn Terfel. He sings in the greatest opera houses in the world, is considered one of the greatest of today. If you don't like him, fine. But believe me, he doesn't sound horrible ;-)

Only problem I found is the key... It's lowered about a third.. I mean, it SORT OF turned me off. Because I know that he can sing the G, had it not been lowered.

@XxXxMoMoStewxXxX this comment is simply ignorant...it has great emotion to it, he's supposed to be languishing over a lost love, trying to wake her up...if I didn't know and perform the piece myself, by hearing this song I would've immediately known it was about sorrow and languish. Plus his tone and technique are amazing. You're a freshman in highschool, probably a sophomore by now considering this comment is 11 months old, as am I, but we still have so much more to learn.
