STOP POSTING SHITTY COMMENTS!! A Video Dedicated To The British SAS. The Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) is the principal special forces unit of the British Army. It is a small and secretive institution. The SAS today serves as a model for similar units fielded by other countries.

The SAS forms a significant part of the United Kingdom Special Forces. The other parts are: the Special Boat Service (SBS), the Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), and the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG).

The SAS can trace its existence back to 1941, when British Army volunteers conducted raids behind enemy lines in the North African Campaign of World War II. The Regiment's motto is "Who Dares Wins".

During December 1941, US President Roosevelt devised the name "United Nations" for the Allies. He referred to the Big 3 & China as a "trusteeship of the powerful", & then later the "4 Policemen".[9] The Declaration by United Nations on 1 Jan 1942 was the basis of the modern United Nations (UN).[10] At the Potsdam Conference of July–Aug 1945, Roosevelt's successor, Harry S. Truman, proposed that the foreign ministers of China, France, the Soviet Union, the UK & the USA

  • @DavidUKesb 3/4 After 1941, the leaders of the British Commonwealth, the Soviet Union, and the United States of America, known as the "Big Three",[3] held leadership of the allied powers. China,[4][5][6] at that time, was also a major Ally.[7] Other Allies included Belgium, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, Greece, India (as part of the British Empire), Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway and Yugoslavia.[8]
