@Italiano190991 It say's in an interview on my box set that he got the idea of rocky from a boxing match he saw in his early days and the underdog just refused to stay down beaten he still kept on going and the story of rocky was born.

@ Chuck7i Stallone is Italian for the English word horse (or stallion)... and because he is Italian himself it's the Italian Stallion. Silvester was before the movies actually a boxer and wrote the character Rocky about himself.
