They made this song right after witnessing a solar eclipse in India. They went strait into the studio and tried to recreate it in sonic form. The result was this song, and after that Shpongle was born.

@Hypergalactica those are the same words I used to describe Shpongle on a burned CD of them back in the day. I still have the CD with "Shpongle - Holy crap." on it.
