@MyCommentsMatter1 .. might add that Elton John has made more than Billy doin the same thing. Drop anchor, get off the speed and think before speaking. Bowersox may not be topping the charts yet; but, that doesn't happen overnight usually. Doing good things takes time. Billy joel was playin for quite a while before he got noticed and a bit longer yet before he had a chart topping hit. So I don't know where your expectations are coming from; but, they need introduced to reality.

You know, this is why soap boxes exist.. and woodsheds. Bowersox IS a hit. Idol may have been intended for something; but, it's turned into something else whether any of us like it or not. I really don't care what kind of music You like. There are 360 million Americans and most of them aren't kids. Most of them have wider musical tastes than kids. And what the hell's wrong with guitar and organ. Did heller good for Billy Joel who made something between 80 & 100 million.

Me and about 30 million other rythum and blues listeners really loved Crystals music. I can't stand most of the weird crap out ther today. But since 7 out of ten radio stations are rock-n-roll and rythum bluse 24/7 I know I don't have to worry about the rap-crap or other wierd crap taking over.
