It's a nice accent - it sounds less harsh than Dutch Dutch, and the consonants are so different!

Nice video;French of Flemish origin,I've never learned my ancestor's language,and now I try to talk it at least a bit when I return to Ieper or Alost,where my family lives.

Thanks for making the effort to shoot these videos for us! :-) Little question. In Dutch the "v" sounds like the english "f", but it seems to me in Flemish it sounds like the english "v". Am I hearing that right?

dutch people tend to use the "f-sound" for a v
and a "v-sound" for a w
