Amazone Fra Meliton manège Nuno Oliveira par Christine Hugon

Leçon à une élève en amazone dans le manège de Nuno Oliveira, à la quinta do Brejo. Le cheval est Fra Meliton. Il était alors assez âgé, vraisemblablement 18 ou 19 ans. Ce cheval d'école était souvent souvent présenté par le maître comme étant un ange de cheval. Il était d'ailleurs adoré par les élèves tant en raison de son degré de dressage que pour son extrême gentillesse. L'amazone est Christine Hugon. Elle a été l'élève de Nuno Oliveira pendant 9 ans et a monté, à plusieurs reprises, dans les fourches sous sa direction. La vidéo est celle d'une de ses premières leçons en amazone.

I love this video! I have worked with two of Nuno's students every day for two years and it is as I could "feel" the horses and the atmosphere!!! Everyone who has ridden with him is his student... some rode less and learned more in a short time, and some studied with him for a longer time but took longer to learn. So? In these arenas you do not ride, you study!!! :))) Happy rides to Everyone!!! :)

My!!! you have had me truly crying. Oh to hear his voice and the horses so peacefully clanking their sliding cheek curbs. I used to tell Nuno it was Beethovens 9th. Then l saw your amizon work. Was an Nuno gal from 1972 until his end, never looked to any one again. Saw Juan before he died. l did a grand Prix Dressage aside on a horse l worked with him for years. arab. None of the people who trained with Nuno will ever be, or claim to be Nuno, or perhaps even use his methods exactly to the letter. I'm certain though, that their time with him was not wasted, and that many of them follow the principals of the training he was doing. Many of these people have their own talents and experiences to share, but they also learned from Nuno. I call learning being a student. Sorry you disagree with my terminology.

No such thing as a student of Nuno. There is only one Bettina Drummond. Nuno said so himself. The rest that work with him were just lip service.
