I suffered from athletes foot for several years and just finally overcame it. I never thought I'd say this but I actually miss one thing about athletes foot. I used to look forward to getting home from work, taking off my shoes, and scratching the hell outta my feet. It felt so good.

I had this same thing happen to me.. i had it for close to a month it bothered me so much.. i went to the beach on vacation and i heard that salt water cures a lot of skin problems so I stuck my feet in the ocean every day while on vacation and my foot was cured.

if you can see and feel, tell me how do a person allow this to progress to this point before seeking medical help. to know that this can be spread!! seriously people get a grip of what's going on with your bodies. this is not anything you want to keep hidden cause you can infect others. This is the number one reason why so many people have it. Please go the the ER as soon as possible.

In this instance, infection became so bad that amputation unfortunately became a neccessity. This is VERY unusual, as generally these things react to fungal creams.
