  • @yemi8149 YOU rightly assessed that this song was a mega-hit in national anthem proportion---have you heard of AYINLA,s album-"ATI DI ARIYO"(2) in which the megastar lambasted those shrucken-brain,senseless and inferior-complex suffering Yoruba ladies who were potentially fatally bleaching their black complexioned skins--"Anu e lo se mi o lo je ki ba e damoran,o ye ki o bi ibeji ki o to bora"--any neutral observer then would tell you that awesome lyrics was more popular than FATAI's rantings-

  • We live in a world of flaunting our weatlh or any form of conspicious material acquisition:AYINLA was absolutely right to boast vociferously about purchasing brand new Mercedes:he had too many blood-seeking foes who were desperately want to see his downfall into snake-pit obscurity:he ought to remind them he was flourishing unabatedly, and he enviably did. OLOWONYO was second rate singer:if not for his celebrated enmity he had with AYINLA,he wouldnt achived the considerable fame he had.!!

  • this is great! fatai olounyo at is best.

  • omg..this is mother of all beef song, it became yoruba national anthem...ayinla, u ask for it..idont remember what ayinla sang to promt this outrage..competiting sells record ,but this guys were at each others trats for real

  • This men is on fire...holly shit!!!

  • @4060jonah Was it at the naming ceremony for "Alapata Gan-gah"?

  • I remember when I was very young I used to listen to Olowonyo on Television. I love his music/

  • As much as I like the song and respect this singer, I am not particularly delighted about the confrontations and affronts contained in the lyrics, interspersed with prayers...

  • thanks for the upload It made me remember my mother's beer parlour at Ijebu-Ode

when guys in the neighbour hood come to enjoy the luxury we shall never see in Nigeria anymore. Thanks for the upload again . More blessings

  • @akknile Thank you for the info, I'm not aware that he's dead. I used to listen to this record thinking whao this guy is still alive. May his soul RIP.
