It's my theory that the ASPCA commercial is only sad because of Sarah McLachlan's song, "Angel".

@dylandanforthmusic Get a grip, dude. The commercial sucks and it gets played a hundred times daily. Throwing Duran Duran over McLachlan's shitty song doesn't mean I like to beat animals.

@moviechannel1012 The whole point of my video is the fact the original commercial IS sad. I was tired of my pleasant television watching experience being interrupted by Ms. McLachlan's boo-hoo-worthy siren song. As I've said before, I like animals. What I don't like is some Canadian lady hogging US airwaves in order to manipulate my emotions for monetary purposes. In my opinion, the ASPCA's effort would benefit greatly from the use of such catchy tunes as the ones I used in my video. OK?

I think this video is hilarious and I love animals. Why does everything have to be so one sided. The uploader was simply trying to illustate a point about media telling you what emotions to have at what times, and the experiment was a success. Good job uploader

@ChrisMastro That is totally what I was doing. It totally wasn't because I had seen this commercial twenty times over the course of one day and wished it had better music over it. I appreciate the support. I also love animals despite what many people infer from this video.
