This man could sing the phone book and it would be amazing! he is the greatest person to ever grace the american idol stage! in my opinion this is by-far his best performance.

OLP got it better; their video was better also.. but this was a good try, a nice alternative. I just believe OLP captured the essense of the song. Many people see this as a suicide song; which is something you really dont capture when David is singing.. but thats ok, its like a more hip version of a sad song.

This is a fan-made video, not a real music video, so I don't get the comparison. Cook performed this OLP cover when he was a contestant on American Idol and this is just a "studio recording" for fans of the show. It is not even available for distribution. Nonetheless, I still love the way Cook sings it.
